growing, learning, becoming

"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
God bless the woman within her, the woman she is trying to be- the woman she is going to become.
May she still trust even though she is among the rough waters. May she hold on to hope though it seems out of her reach.
May she do the impossible, simply because she had faith.
May she get to the place where she is meant to be.
2 Corinthians 4:8
"We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair."
BUT, progress has been made. She can see it. The darkness has caused her to see the little sparks of hope.
Being on her knees has caused her to appreciate the little steps. They are steps nonetheless.
One step closer, still progress.
"Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths."
And trusting that God is guiding her down a safe path- a known path, has to be enough. He's been there. Blurred vision won't be a hindrance to her destiny. Maybe this is just one of life's blindfolds to the big surprises. She is learning to look around to see purpose and beauty in each part of the journey.
Appreciate the views, though she is climbing.
"Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.”
Still, she is reminded that she is not out of God's reach. Perhaps, she is here on purpose, and that solitude has given her the privilege of blooming freely, beautifully.
With no hindrances, as she embraces truth. Because she had to learn to love herself- or find self love through the love that was extended to her in unfamiliar places.
"Remember, I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
She will believe with trembling hands, have faith in the face of fear, choose His promises, because they are near. She will choose selfhood and wholeness, and treasure the valuables only found in the wild. Maybe all she really needed was just a heartbeat, and a heart set on following Him.
Because maybe here is not that bad,
And life can be called beautiful again.
